New K-Pop: Mr. Mr. by Girls' Generation

Who isn't excited when Girls' Generation makes a comback?? I wasn't a huge fan of I Got a Boy. It's those kinds of song that needs a few listen, you get hooked then dissolves quite fast. It's still a good tune. Over a year later, the girls are back with a mini album. The title track of their new album is Mr. Mr. On first listen, it didn't hook me straight but I still decided to download it on iTunes. It's starting to grow on me now.

VIXX & OKDAL - Girls, Why?

I just found out about this song and fell in love with its simplicity. It's a sweet uptempo ballad that has an every sweeter chorus you just can't stop enjoying, if it makes any sense.

2013 in K-Pop: Best Dance

This category is pretty hard for me to pick. I'm not really someone who would know about dance so I wouldn't know what attributes to an awesome dance. So I chose based on which moves caught my eyes. If I wasn't so lazy last year, I would've posted about last year's choices. My best dance for 2012 would've been U-KISS' Stop Girl. That song's choreography to me was just slick and on point. Inifinite H - Special Girl

I love this song. When the MV came out, the chorus' choreography just stuck to me. The part where they were swaying their hips was just slick and stood out perfectly in synch with the song.

Best of the Best - Running Man Episode 63 & 64

This time it's a special 2 episode post as both features the same guest and you have to enjoy it as a whole. Ok, the reason I liked this episode is simply because it features Girls' Generation! The theme this time was couples. There's definitely plenty of laughs in this. From the way they choose their partners, interaction between the couples and also the missions they perform. Funniest couple was of course Gwang Soo with his crush Yuri. Enjoy!

New K-Pop - Twinkle by TaeTiSeo

If you're anticipating new songs from Girls' Generation, this might be good enough. SM has created a sub-unit of GG consisting of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun. The song has a tinge of Motown but with more modern beats. To me Motown is great but it might get a bit boring after a lot of replaying. It does feels like something familiar you've heard ages ago. But for now, I'm still enjoying it. I also like the other song in this EP titled Baby Steps. Ok now I can't decide who my favourite GG member is as I've fallen for Taeyeon too! Enjoy!
