K-Pop Artists Coming to Malaysia in 2012

Originally posted 25/5/12: So I was browsing the web yesterday aimlessly looking for any interesting K-Pop news, then I found out that in fact there'll be K-Pop artists coming here as soon as this weekend. Later in the day I found out about more artists coming. After having FT Island, Girls' Generation and Jay Park touched down our soil this year, can't believe more are coming. Check out who when they're coming after the break.

U-KISS

Teen Top

The one I found out first is a free concert happening today (May 25th) featuring U-Kiss in conjunction with Hari Belia Negara 2012. It's happening at the Main Stage at Precinct 4, Putrajaya starting at 8pm. Check out the Malaysian U-Kiss Fanclub Facebook page for more info here. Same location and time on the next day, Teen Top and Dal Shabet will be taking the stage. More info here.

Block B

Update: Block B will be performing on May 26th at the grand opening of Kenanga Wholesale City in KL. Apparently U-Kiss was suppose to perform but was later cancelled. Wow, maybe due to my "freshness" in K-Pop I didn't realize a lot of K-Pop artists come here. Just read about MBLAQ going on a tour around Asia. So they might be coming.

Jay Park

Kara

The line-up for the MTV World Stage Malaysia has just been announced. While it will feature Justin Bieber and local artist Mizz Nina, K-Pop fans are not left out with the return of Jay Park and performance by Kara! It's happening at the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach on July 14th. However, tickets can only be obtained by entering contests by various sponsors. More info here.

Big Bang

Lastly, as most will know is that Big Bang has just announced their Alive World Tour. Malaysia is a confirmed stop in their tour but no other details have surfaced yet. They are confirmed to perform at Stadium Merdeka on the 27th of October. More info at their facebook page here. The organizer "Rising Into The Sun" has released information on tickets. Tickets will be on sale from July 28th. Refer their FB page here.

Another act coming to our shore is rookie group BAP which will be dropping by on July 6th as part of their Asia showcase tour. As you can see from the above poster, they will be performing at KL Live starting at 8.30pm. More info here. BAP will also be performing at the grand finale of 8TV's Showdown on Wednesday (4/7) at KL Live. Free tickets are given out at KL Live and Sri Pentas TV3 Guard House.

T-ARA

Another K-Pop act confirmed coming to our shores is T-ARA! They'll be performing on the 3rd of October at Menara PGRM in KL. Ticket details can be found here. Awesome news!
